Clean surface of the cable insulation
with cleaning solvent & complete the earthing
arrangement. Slide PVC boot on the cores.

Insert Stress Cones in position.
Use silicon grease over XLPE insulation & inside
of stress cones for ease of installation.

Apply S.C. Pad continuity of metallic
screen with stress Cone. Use self bonding insulating
& PVC tape for pressure winding. |
Insert rain sheds & top cap
as shown. No. of rain sheds depends upon the voltage
rating of the cable.

Install terminal lugs & insulate
the exposed area. Using self bonding insulation
tape.

Shrink adhesive lined H. S. Terminal
sleeve for 100% water proofness (THE TERMINATION
IS COMPLETE FOR OUTDOOR USE) |
